Privacy Policy

CapVocab (the “App”) is operated by the developer. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle information:
- No account required. The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
- On-device data. Photos you capture or import, recognized words, notes, and review history are stored primarily on your device and are not used for advertising profiles.
- Dictionary lookups. When you look up a word, the App may send the word, language settings, and app version to our servers to return definitions, pronunciation, and related content. Our servers do not ask for your name, phone number, or other identity information.
- Permissions. Camera access is used only to take photos that contain text. Photo library access is used only to import images.
- Purchases. In-app purchases (such as subscriptions or lifetime unlock) are processed by Apple. We only receive purchase or subscription status and cannot access your full payment card details.
- Third parties. Aside from the dictionary service described above and Apple’s payment processing, the App does not currently integrate advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
- Children. The App is not directed at children under 13.
- Deleting data. Uninstalling the App or deleting related data on your device clears local content. For requests related to server-side lookup logs, please contact us via Support on this page.
We may update this policy from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current one.
Terms of Use
The App is distributed through the App Store. Your license is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA):

Free features have usage limits. Prices for paid features are as shown on the App Store. Refunds and subscription management are handled through your Apple ID settings.
